Work Opportunites

For many RVers the idea of working while traveling is totally out of the question. We’ve spent our younger years working diligently to be able to “hang it up” and simply enjoy the “golden years.”

But for others the idea of having a part-time job while still enjoying retirement is a choice. Such work can be anything from being a campground host to applying a trade or skill to a worthwhile project that offers some remuneration.

Some examples include: security, recreational director, cook, waiter/waitress, store clerk, cleaning facilities, registration, gardening, handyman-small repairs, yard maintenance, membership sales and golf course duties.

There are those too who have abandoned the real estate ownership lifestyle to live a nomadic life, working where there is meaningful employment.

Jamie Hall has written an interesting book called “Support Your RV Lifestyle.” It’s worth the read and is available from RV Hometown. The 2nd edition also has a companion CD so you can listen while driving.

Also a good read on the internet is “Work Camping Not Just For Volunteers Anymore”.

Below are some sites we’ve found that should help you discover various employment opportunities … whatever your reasons. Hope they are helpful. Please send us additional links that you’re aware of to include.

... a personal note

Perhaps you're wondering how this web site, LoveRVing.com , evolved. It's a "work from home", "work from laptop computer" effort that is not only a labor of love but a way to earn extra income while traveling.

How? Very simple. With the easy web site design tools offered by
Site Build It! along with their step-by-step instructions, this site came into existance. And you can do it too! Just take the next 30 minutes of your life, turn up your computer speakers and watch this Video Tour.

Now that you've watched the video, you may be still a bit skeptical (like I was). Read this, put your mind at ease...and then get started! To start getting your creative "juices" flowing, take a few more minutes to peek at some Site Build It! web sites already in the top 100.

Now is your opportunity to take what is your passion , create your own web site, and develop a cash flow so that you can earn some extra income to suppliment your RVing lifestyle. It works for us! And it can work for you!

One more thing. When you refer someone from your site to also build their own site, that's called "affiliate marketing." And by doing this you can dramatically improve your earnings. Click here to find out more.

'Nuff said. The ball's in your court if you're interested. Hope the info below is all worthwhile.
